A weekend of family, french toast, firearms, and football

Last weekend was a busy, but especially fun one. Derek's dad drove out a trailer full of furniture for Kyle and Amanda (and a freezer for us) and stayed with us for the weekend.  We also had Kim and Steve and their son Dallan stay with us.  (And while we have two extra bedrooms, we do not have any extra beds. Air mattresses for everyone!)  Then his Aunt Kathy was in town because her son Connor just had a baby.  We hosted a little get-together with everyone Friday night.  We ate dinner, watched YouTube videos (What does the fox say?), and played a rousing game of Catch Phrase. It is always loud and lots of fun when the Cottle clan gets together!

Saturday morning, Derek and his dad helped Kyle and Amanda move their furniture into their apartment. Then everyone met up again for breakfast at Kneaders for their famous all-you-can-eat french toast.  I actually wasn't feeling the sweet tooth that morning and went for a ham and cheese egg sandwich instead.  Definitely not as life-changing as their french toast, but still delicious!

In the afternoon, we dropped Anna off at Maggie's apartment and then drove up to the Provo gun club to do some trap shooting.  I'm still not very good with my little 4/10 and ended up doing a round with Derek's 12-gauge.  I hit a lot more, but my arm was pretty sore afterward!  It's heavy!

The mountains are so pretty in the fall!
After shooting, we picked up Anna and headed to the stadium where we met up with everyone again for the game.  And it worked out perfectly that our seats were two rows in front of Maggie and her friends!  It was our first game of the season and Anna's first ever!  It was a really fun game, and we had PERFECT weather. We loved cheering the Cougars to a victory over Georgia Tech.
Everyone at the game....including some of Maggie's friends haha

I don't know how she slept through all the yelling and cheering
I love this picture
